If you love legal thrillers and mystery novels half as much as Diane Stelfox Cook, you will not want to miss Ron Franscell’s upcoming presentation of his new novel: Deaf Row.
On May 13, author Ron Franscell is set to visit Pagosa Springs for an all-day author event. Broken up into three separate sections, Franscell’s event will begin at 9 AM and close at 8:30 PM. The first event, ‘The Hero’s Journey’s Writer’s Workshop’ will take place from 9-11 AM at Ruby Sisson Library. Aspiring writers will join Franscell as he hosts a unique writing workshop set on exploring patterns, tropes and more that can take your story from ordinary to extraordinary! Tickets for this event are $25 each. Diane Stelfox Cook is particularly excited for this portion of the day, because writers will have the opportunity to collaborate not only with Franscell, but with each other as well! Cook is a strong believer in the value that bouncing ideas off of other writers can add to any project.
In the afternoon, the library will also host “Ruby’s Meet and Greet Reception with Ron.” Unlike the first event, this one will be completely free. Set in the style of a book talk followed by a Q&A, Ron Franscell will feature his latest novel: Deaf Row. He will dive into the mystery novel while still leaving enough details for you to discover when you read the book yourself! And then finally, to close the day, Franscell will then be joined by Sheriff Mike Le Roux for a Fireside Chat and interview at Tennyson Events Center. This event will be $40 per ticket in advance (or $45 at the door).
