Local Author Diane Stelfox Cook features a unique event for local readers and writers: the Book Lovers Local Author Expo at Cumberland Public Library in Cumberland, RI on February 24, 2024.
Book Lovers Local Author Expo is an event for readers of all ages and genre interests. Nearly 40 local authors will be attending the event, eager to meet fellow book lovers. Perhaps one of the largest showcases of local authors and their works in the Cumberland area, this Public Library event is truly unique. Not only is it free to attend, but it offers a very unique opportunity to both readers and authors. Most of the book talks, book signings and author meet and greets that Diane Stelfox Cook typically features here on her blog are for one author presenting one book. With nearly 40 different writers attending to display, sell and sign their works, the Book Lovers Local Author Expo is as big and bold as it is cozy and comfortable. Offering readers and writers the chance to speak to talented local wordsmiths about everything from publishing to book promo and the creative process… the Library event is unlike any other! There will be stories from a variety of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, comics, picture books, YA novels and more featured. Stelfox Cook will not be able to attend the event. But she encourages all readers in the area to visit — you just might find your next great read at the Expo!
